a mini-story
The buzzer blared overhead. Halftime was over and it was time for Jasmine to get back to her seat if she wanted to see the start of the quarter.
Eyes forward, she weaved through classmates like defenders in the paint only slowing down to anticipate her next move. She was graceful. So much so you’d be hard pressed to notice the limp in her step. Things were starting to get easier. Maybe even normal.
Then she reached her destination in the stands. Although the chairs were similar to the benches she once sat on during time outs, being with fans still felt foreign…just like the screws in her leg. It had been a year now, but as she had learned, some things need more than time to heal.
Everyone has different perspectives on creativity, each having their own merits. And you've amalgamated them into such an aesthetically pleasing, mixed-media format. Wow, this is a read pleasing to the eye.
Miguel does inspire.
And your newsletter concept is cool. To be able to get inspiring notes using people's words shows your good view of life. I dig that!
Lovely story, I look forward to reading more of it or any other stories from you too.
