what comparison can’t see.
a meditation
Some days comparison arrives before breakfast.
At the edge of my phone, it shows me what I have not become.
A friend’s new home.
A coworker’s promotion.
A viral piece with more likes than my entire archive.
Quietly, information becomes evidence.
Proof that every good thing that comes another’s way says something about what I lack.
But comparison is shallow.
It sees bloom. Not the seed being buried.
The branch. Not the roots long years growing.
It mistakes what is visible for what is valuable.
As if so much of beauty didn’t begin beneath the surface.

Not yet visible...
undercover, underground.
Unseen vital work.
Just love your work! In a world gone mad its nice to retutn to the less obvious, the less in your face, and nurture what is becoming... 🌸👍🏽
