This is one of my favorite posts I've read of yours. I feel this. Sometimes *when* I'm feeling that fear, if I have the space to create, I have to tell myself, "Just start."

I have to say that approach didn’t go so well this week, but the week before it was 🔥. So maybe that’s the next thing after “just start.” “Keep showing up.”

I found the conversation with Karla particularly insightful. One of my favorite things to come out of the past few years, in particular, is supporting the mental health of creatives. There's so much we can learn about ourselves through what of our parts show up in our work.

Art became a focus for me later in life, but it's impact on my personhood in the short time I've prioritized it is undeniable.
